Kelly said he believed the target was Diana L. Taylor, a close acquaintance of Mayor Bloomberg. Kelly announced that New York would immediately be declaring war on Iran, which — he pointed out — hates us all for our freedoms.

Either way, the economy will wind up with $1.2 trillion less in purchasing power. The result will be to reduce demand, kill jobs and put more people on the streets.

This follows an earlier mass protest against military rulers who have been in control since President Mubarak was toppled in February. They were demanding the withdrawal of a proposal that declares the military the guardian of ‘constitutional legitimacy’. The protest was arranged by the islamist Muslim Brotherhood, and supported by some secular activists. U.S.-based radio host Stephen Lendman believes military rule could prove to be a greater evil for Egypt, than Mubarak.
