By David Swanson – I’ve been coughing and vomiting, and my head aches from pepper spray. I’ll post videos and photos of why at the link above. We intended to hold signs and sing inside the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum, protesting its promotion of unmanned drones, missiles, and bombs, including its sponsorship by and promotion of weapons corporations. We don’t have any museums promoting health coverage or education or retirement security.

According to a report by Byron Belitsos published in the September “Rock Creek Free Press,” of Washington, D.C., “thousands of courageous Americans have lent their names to the call for a new investigation, including over 200 senior military intelligence and other government officials; over 1,500 engineers and architects; over 250 pilots and aviation professionals; and over 400 professors.”

The point is that just because there are a lot of “useful idiots” at the Occupy Wall Street protests (just as there were at the Tea Party Protests) that doesn’t mean we should dismiss what is happening or belittle their frustrations. They are merely ships without anchors floating around aimlessly in a sea of ignorance. Rather that mock them right into the hands of bad guys that want to recreate feudalism like Michael Moore, George Soros and Warren Buffett we should educate them.
