by on Aug 22, 2011 The mainstream media has failed to report on the death toll and destruction that occurred in the recent takeover of the Libyan capital of Tripoli. Many say that the rebels would not been able to take over the capital city without the assistance of NATO. According to civilians on the ground, everything was a target – including many international journalists. Why is the US media not reporting on the causalities of this occupation? Pepe Esobar, correspondent for Asia Times, gives us more insight on the recent happenings.
