Gaza, We Are Coming

By Greta Berlin – On Saturday, 25 June, the French boat, Dignity / Karama, left the port of l’ile Rousse in Corsica, France, to meet up with at least nine other vessels sailing to Gaza to challenge Israel’s illegal blockade. Israel’s best efforts to stop our boats at port, including pressure on governments, threats against insurance and communications companies, intimidation of human rights defenders, frivolous lawsuits and other underhanded tactics, have thusfar failed. The Freedom Flotilla has set sail.

Edwin Vieira Interview with James Turk

Edwin explains how States have the legal duty and authority to carry out monetary reform and given the deadlock in Washington must take the initiative to prepare for the coming crisis.

The U.S. Monetary System And Descent Into Fascism An Interview With Dr. Edwin Vieira

Just the other day, the Indiana Supreme Court ruled that the Fourth Amendment doesn’t apply at all because you can sue the police after they’ve mistakenly broken into your home. But when they break into your home and they kill you, then what?

Dershowitz Promotes Settlement for Strauss-Kahn as Hotel Housekeeper Lawyers Up

Pam Martens – More troubling, Harvard Law professor Alan Dershowitz has embarked on a media road show to habituate the public to the idea that our Rosa Parks with a cleaning cart and an international workers’ platform is about to opt for “a big payday.” If that were true, given her sequestered status, it is impossible for the public to know if she voluntarily reached that decision or if some unseen hand made it for her.

THE MILITARY AS A JOBS PROGRAM: THERE ARE MORE EFFICIENT WAYS TO STIMULATE AN ECONOMY

Ellen Brown: The military is the nation’s largest and most firmly entrenched entitlement program, one that takes half of every tax dollar. Even if “national security” is considered our number one priority (a dubious choice when the real unemployment rate is over 16%), estimates are that the military budget could be cut in half or more and we would still have the most powerful military machine in the world.

Fukushima: Hot Particles From Japan to Seattle Virtually Undetectable when Inhaled or Swallowed

Original estimates of xenon and krypton releases remain the same, but a TEPCO recalculation shows dramatic increases in the release of hot particles. This confirms the results of air filter monitoring by independent scientists. Fairewinds’ Arnie Gundersen explains how hot particles may react in mammals while escaping traditional detection. Reports of a metallic taste in the mouth, such as those now being reported in Japan and on the west coast, are a telltale sign of radiation exposure.

Is the Chinese Economy Sputtering for the Same Reasons as the American Economy?

It was tempting to believe that China was different. However, despite its long history, exotic names and seemingly strong position, China cannot avoid the rules of economics which have applied to all countries throughout history.
