Anonymous Group of Hackers Posts Alleged Bank of America Fraud Documents

Print Friendly

It’s hard to tell without really analyzing this story whether it’s true, just a bunch of B.S., or possibly some kind of tactic being used to gain access to Julian Assange’s supposed information he said he had on one U.S. bank; note the last paragraph in one of the emails they have posted:

The documents/emails that supposedly prove Bank of America fraud, released by the internet Anonymous Group, are posted at a website that apparently was off-line but is back up (for time being). The documents were sent to the Anonymous hacker group by an employee of Balboa Insurance that:

provides insurance to financial institutions in the mortgage and vehicle finance markets. Balboa was a unit of Countrywide Financial, which Bank of America acquired in 2008. Bank of America stated in February it would sell Balboa to QBE Insurance Group. The former employee alleges that the email trail indicates that Balboa withheld certain foreclosure information from US federal auditors during the takeovers of the financial institution IndyMac, which the US federal government seized in July 2008, and Aurora Loan Services, a mortgage loan company that was a subsidiary of Lehman Brothers, the failed investment bank. The person also alleges that loan documentation was falsified in order to proceed with foreclosures. (Techworld.com)

If this was legitimate it would be in the news. Whatever the purpose they have did this it only adds to confusion and damages credible alternative investigations into the abuse and crime of the big banks. At least the author that posted this had the good sense to include their doubts.
